My love for EXO
I love EXO. I heard about Exo coming to Malaysia from my sister who also love kpop (although she’s VIXX diehard fan) in January 2016, and we decided to get the tickets no matter what. It was said that the tickets will be made available to fans in March 2016, so we had about 3 months to save up money to buy a ticket. Usually the tickets will cause around RM200-RM1000 depending on the concerts and the artist. And as usual if we want a clear view we have to aim for better seat and therefore paying a bit more.
Getting Tickets
The day of the ticket opening is another matter. Some fans are willing enough to line up even days before the ticket opening. My sister and I are working thus camping at the venue to get the tickets would be ridiculous. So, we had to head out early on the ticket launching day, in fact we were praying that we could at least get any tickets before its sold. We got to the venue quite early and we were ready for the hardship we will faced in getting the tickets. Sure enough, we had to line-up for 6 hours to get the tickets but it is all worth it. We get to meet other EXO fans and exchange stories on our bias.
The Concert
The concert was held at Stadium Merdeka, and to tell you guys the truth, I don’t actually like going to concerts at Stadium Merdeka because the place is in the middle of KL and it’s really hard to get parking space. Plus, it is an open area and if it rain… On the day of the concert it rained he..he..he.. but we are grateful because the rain stopped when the concert starts. We head out to the concert venue quite early and although we got numbered seats but going early allows us to buy merchandise at the concert venue. Apart from that there are many fans’ events and most of the time fan clubs will be distributing trinkets to fans to celebrate.
Apart from minor technical problems such as some of the screen panel was not working and few sound problem the concert was ok. I said that because I’ve been to few concerts and the concert was not as great as it was supposed to be. I blamed it on the venue because it is an open venue and you can’t do much with an open venue. But EXO members were awesome. They perform like professionals that they are and I was really enjoying the song selection.
